The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM) is comprised of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners actively engaged in the field of Urgent Care/ Ambulatory Medicine.

Definition of Urgent Care Medicine Urgent Care/Ambulatory Medicine is the provision of immediate medical service (no appointment necessary) offering outpatient care for the treatment of acute and chronic illness and injury.
